How to handle your pain as a Minister.

MUST READ] - MUSIC MINISTERS SOMETIMES GO THROUGH TERRIBLE AND TRAUMATIC PAINS UNREVEALED.

HOW TO HANDLE YOUR #PAIN AS A MUSIC MINISTER: Gospel Music Saxophonist - Minister EddieSax shares with us.

It was indeed a touching story, pathetic and traumatic in my experience... But in all the perils of life, one thing is sure; your #TEST and#STORM will make you Better, Stronger, Hopeful, Graced, sometimes it announces you and makes you Greater if you can only see it from God's own perspective and not Man's.

The question a lot of us battle with in our quiet place is 'GOD WHY ME?'. LORD, AM INNOCENT, BUT WHY THIS STORM BEFALLETH ME? Beloved, if it isn't you, is no other. Every man on earth has a season of pain according to purpose. My painful experience of barely 4 months now has taught me great things about this GOD; indeed HE knows the ending of a man from the beginning. As a Minister of God; whether as in gospel music or as a preacher, don't ever think it will always be a smooth journey, especially when it comes to 'Death'. You didn't create yourself, the one who created us knows best how it will come - just make your ways right with HIM as well as with men and eternity is sure.

I actually didn't know it was this bitter, painful and traumatic until the most precious, angelic and virtuous woman in my world left to be with the Lord untimely and uninformed @33yrs of her age. She was so precious to behold, a woman filled with great grace, so caring, loving, virtuous, respectful, an epitome of beauty... What more can I say about her? She was all, a sensational singer, worshipper, an encourager, home-builder, a pillar and supporter.

Just like a dream; it all happened on 27th Oct 2014... It was like Hell for me, I was pained, wept like a man with no world to live in, called on God several times, prayed with groaning from my heart...even when the madness of the pains of her death at the Hospital, that chased the Doctor and Nurses away, my wife could not return back to me. I carried a loving dead corpse in my hands, called and called her, spoke to her spirit calmly and romantically petting her to come back to me...thinking she will open her eyes to say a word to me, but reverse was the case...she was just smiling; even in her peaceful death, she was pretty as she sleeps in peace. It was indeed a bitter experience... Words may never be enough to describe my painful experience. The amazing thing i experienced in this process was the persecution I faced from men. All manner of blames, criticism, blackmail and all sort here and there. It was then I knew that life indeed is a dangerous world - When the people you value, respect and trusted most betray you even in your pains, how do you handle it? Men will say all manner of things about you as a minister, criticize you from all angel, make noise from what they virtually know nothing about, even the once that doesn't even know your family or you, will carry the news more - all is to test your Faith, Stand and Strength in GOD. #NEVERGIVEUP! It will surprise you to know that I was tried, tempted, criticized, blackmailed even by fellow church members and some so-called Men of God...but in all, the Lord was speaking to my heart and I was calm. These scriptures helped me during this trying time: Ps 46:10; Phil 4:4-9... Please, read it. Do you think it will always be smooth just because you're a minister of God? Great men experience great challenges than ordinary men - especially as a Man of God or Minister of God. Remember the stories of Men in the Bible such as: Joseph, Stephen, John, Paul, Job, Esther, Hannah...etc. How they were tempted and how some of them died terribly. What about our very own like Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, who lost his first wife over 20yrs ago, or is it Pastor Kumuyi who also lost his wife few years ago? Bishop Duncan Williams who never knew his biological father until he was 20yrs old and still had several marital issues? Or is it Pastor Emma Egwuche - a great man of God who lost his precious wife and two children in an accident on their way from camp program? Or is it the recent Dr. Myles & Wife who died in a plan crash on their way to God's assignment. Several once I can mentioned now... Who then can really say how this trials will come, to whom will it come, where will it meet you and how will you handle it when it comes? Make your research and see how other great international preachers have also gone through one phase of pain or the other in their lives and ministries. Have you ever made a research about the man who wrote the song 'IT'S WELL WITH MY SOUL?'. When I was going through this phase, i was terribly tried beyond my capacity - yet God said HE won't allow us to be tempted above what we can't overcome: this was indeed beyond me, though it didn't make God a liar in any way. But that was how I felt. It was so hard because it was blowing me from different angel: some will come and say "why did you not do this or that", some will say "why did you allow this or that", some will even monitor you on your social platform and say "you're not mourning your wife enough", some are there to monitor who is visiting you and the places you go per time, while others tend to console you and say "your mourning is ok, don't kill yourself o". Some will even say "the church you attend is not a good church", others said "you should have called on us early enough". Hmmmm... Men! Beloved, I saw things. Betrayals were all around, unfriendly friends were all around. They smiled with you one minute and go behind to say something else the next minute. Even the once you feed and give money, can stab you behind despite what you do. But in all of this, God told me to 'SHUT MY MOUTH AND EARS'. So I wasn't answering anybody, neither was I responding to any evil text messages... God handled the situation for me because HE's the one that knows it all. Always remember that Men's natural habit is to 'TALK'. You can't stop them...but it will be for your GLORY and your LIFTING before their very eyes. You can only handle them and whatever situation on your knees. When you're in a period of PAIN, one thing you must understand as a Minister is that God is still with you in that #TEST. HE hasn't abandoned you or left you to die in your pain...HE sees, HE hears and HE answers...HE may not say anything to you, but HE'll allow it for the greatness ahead of you. HE'll keep you equipped, especially for that Great Destiny HE created in you. Always learn to stay in Silence, but Focus on God alone. Learn to hear HIM as HE'll speak to your heart per time. Draw your ultimate strength from #TheWord! Despite all I was going through during this traumatic period, there were great Men, Women, Colleagues, Ministers, Pastors, Singers, Comedians and some exceptional friends God planted around me, who stood their ground to see that am helped and strengthened. God bless them all! So in your case, God will send#Helpers to you. That secret pain will not envelop you, don't think it's the end of your ministry or calling, don't ever think it can't be better - That's a lie. The truth is that you'll do better and greater - Challenges are inevitable, they will come to obstruct you, distract you, make you have fear for your future, derail you, make you feel inferior, make you believe you're a failure and to make you believe that you can't amount to anything in life... It's a BIG LIE! No matter what you go through, your best is still ahead and your LATER will be greater than your FORMER.

I admonish you not to fear...keep Faith on a higher gear, don't ever give up on yourself or dreams, don't ever listen to Men's criticism or the distractions of life - know that it's only GOD that can settle you, not man. Our Lord Jesus went through it; HE was betrayed by an insider, HE was crucified for all sinners. If HE went through it for your redemption, then you can go through it when temptation and challenges of life comes. When my wife died, nobody thought I can survive it, I was already prepared to die along with my wife...my strength was weak, I fainted several times, I was gone with no more power to do anything, not even food or water can go into my body - but here I am #GraceAndStrength was released from on high. If I could go through it till now, you'll go through it. Be Courageous; Be Strong and take your place...remember you're a #MinisterOfGod and men are watching to draw strength from you.
Return to your midnight prayers, study the Word more, stay in your quiet place so you can hear HIM more often...for there's#PowerInTheNameOfJesus,#HoldOnAndLookUp! Your best is still in front of you. GOD BLESS YOU!
